ROMA AwardsSM
The Remodeler of Merit Awards honor our remodeler members for quality and value in remodeling projects that range from baths and kitchens, to additions and whole house remodels. Builder of the Year Award, Remodeler of the Year and Associate of the YearSM
Each year one builder, one remodeler and one associate member of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities earns this most prestigious award that recognizes trust, communication, loyalty and ethics in business dealings between builders/remodelers and the associate members with whom they work. (Associate members are the companies that supply produts, materials, and sevices to builders and remodelers.)
Bennie Awards
The Bennie Awards recognize excellence in neighborhood design and construction. Judging criteria includes aesthetic appeal, land plan, retention of natural features, amenities such as parks and trails, as well as traffic flow. A separate category judges neighborhoods using added "smart growth" criteria that includes mixed-use opportunities, range of housing types and prices (lifecycle housing), and pedestrian appeal.
Peoples Choice Award
This annual award allows consumers to rate individual homes by comparing the quality and design to a hypothetical “ideal” home for the price. The homes that the general public rated the highest win.
