Facts on 2008 Parade of Homes EasystreetSM

• The sixth annual Parade of Homes EasyStreetSM is presented by Builders Association of the Twin Cities’ members and runs from April 26 through May 18, 2008 with 112 association-maintained homes open Thursdays and Fridays from 3:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturdays and?Sundays from noon to 6:00 pm, free of charge.

• Featuring model homes and neighborhoods located in 55 communities across the extended Twin Cities metropolitan area. There are 61 builders and developers participating in the event.

• All homes on display in the Parade of Homes EasyStreetSM have a homeowners’ association that can handle, at minimum, all lawn care and snow removal. Homes included in the tour will include both attached and detached townhomes, row townhomes, twin homes, condominiums, lofts, villa homes, coach homes, and even single-family homes.

• New in 2008, a concise new Parade of Homes EasyStreetSM TourMap replaces the traditional Guidebook. The TourMap will be available in the April 26th Star Tribune and Pioneer Press newspapers as well as at metro area Holiday StationStores. The TourMap includes a complete listing of all homes on the tour with maps to direct visitors to each home.

• Complete information about each of the homes can be found online at www.paradeofhomes.org. Search for homes by square footage, price, location, number of bedrooms and baths and much more. There you’ll find photos or illustrations, descriptions, more information about the builder, and helpful information for home buyers.

• There are two condominiums at the lowest price of $139,900 on the tour: #55 by Goff Homes, Inc. and #61 by Stonebridge Companies. The Goff home features two bedrooms and two baths, and is located at 1580 Parkwood Drive in Woodbury. Stonebridge’s 800 square foot one-bedroom condo is located at 1800 Graham Avenue in St. Paul. The most expensive home on the tour is #103, a detached rambler townhome priced at $1,249,000 by Feehan Design &?Build, Inc. Located at 18317 Kylie Court in Minnetonka, this is a fabulous five-bedroom, four-bath townhome with 3,900 square feet on the main and lower level with all the bells and whistles.

• Homes in a wide range of prices are offered in the Parade of?Homes EasyStreetSM. There are 23 homes priced under $200,000, 28 homes priced between $200,000 and $300,000, 22 homes priced between $300,000 and $400,000, and 22 homes priced between $400,000 and $600,000. Nine homes are priced in the $600,000s , three in the $700,000s and one at $1,249,000.

• A total of $39,329,209 dollars in housing is represented in the 2008 Parade of?Homes EasyStreetSM.

• Homes on the tour include 28 condominiums, 59 attached townhomes and 25 detached townhomes or association-maintained single-family homes.

• Homes in the Parade of Homes EasyStreetSM are located in 55 communities throughout the extended metro region. Blaine has the most entries (11), followed by Woodbury with eight, St. Paul with seven, and Minneapolis with five.

• Other homes are located in close-in suburbs like Bloomington, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, and New Brighton.

• Homes on the EasyStreet tour are also located in far-flung cities like Red Wing, Watertown, and Lindstrom.

• Visitors to the web site at www.paradeofhomes.org can register to win a luxury weekend for four to Las Vegas from Worry-Free Vacations or tickets to a variety of entertainment and sports venues from CBS radio stations.
