During each of the Parade of Homes^SM tours, the public has an opportunity to help low-income families achieve the dream of owning their own home when they visit the Builders Outreach Foundation Dream Homes. This year that includes a very special Dream Remodeled Home featured during the Spring 2009 Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase^SM.

All visitors to this fabulous Dream Remodeled Homes are asked to make a tax-deductible $5.00 donation at the door. All proceeds will be used by the Builders Outreach Foundation, the charitable arm of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities, to help continue their work building homes for families that otherwise couldn’t afford one.

Living in the Lap of Luxury

Cabinetry crafted from knotty alder with cherry accents flank the large gourmet kitchen with two granite-topped islands plus a custom built-in pewter-topped hutch. The appliances include stainless steel Sub-Zero® refrigerator and freezer, gas cooktop with an elegant, custom hand-forged copper vent hood, plus separate beverage drawers.

The main-level owners’ suite is gracefully set in the new addition, boasting in-floor heat under a herringbone patterned wood floor. Private, comfortable and offering all the lavish features you’d expect, this space is a parent’s dream come true.
