Artisan Home Tour FAQs

What is the Artisan Home Tour?

A ticketed, scattered site tour of up to 30 high-end homes located across the Twin Cities. These luxurious residences have met minimum standards for price and finish level to participate. Both new homes and remodeled homes are offered on the tour.

Who produces the Artisan Home Tour?

The Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC), presenter of the Parade of Homes℠ and Remodelers Showcase®

When does the Artisan Home Tour occur?

The Artisan Home Tour runs for three long weekends in June. Homes are open Fridays through Sundays from noon to 6:00 pm. New Artisan Homes are open all three weekends, remodeled Artisan Homes are open the final weekend only.

Is there a charge to attend the Artisan Home Tour?

Yes, you must have a ticket to tour any of the homes. An Artisan Home TourTicket allows you to visit all of the homes once, and go to one home for a return visit. TourTickets can be purchased online at, at our retail outlet, Bachman's, and at any of the Artisan Homes during the tour. You can also pick up a discount coupon at any area Holiday Stationstore and use the coupon online or at any Artisan Home during the tour. Single-home tickets can be purchased at any home for $5.00. All adults and children six years of age or older will require a ticket to enter.

How do I get my ticket when I buy online?

At the first home you visit, you’ll be asked for the email or phone number you provided when you purchased online. You’ll then receive a unique paper TourTicket with your own QR code, which will be scanned at each home you visit. You can also turn your paper ticket into an electronic ticket on your smart phone.

How can I learn about the homes on the tour?

You can visit the Artisan Home Tour website to see all the homes available to tour as well as read more about the participating builders and remodelers. You'll also want to load the free Parade Craze app onto your smart phone. The app lets you scroll through all the homes, see photo galleries of each home (photos are generally available by the second weekend of the tour), and comment about the homes you visit.

Where does the money go from tickets purchased?

A portion of ticket sales goes to the BATC Foundation, the charitable arm of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities, a 501c-3 nonprofit organization. The Foundation's mission is to help Twin Cities’ families and communities in need with a focus on homelessness and Veterans.

Are tickets tax deductible?

Yes! Your TourTicket is $10 tax deductible and single home tickets are $2 tax deductible.
