Installing bathtubs and sinks can make the difference between a good and an astonishing bathroom look. However, modern bathtub designs go wild with new designs but they will make sure that when you take a bath, you will be relaxed and you will feel good in your modern bathroom look.
Depending on the material which was used for making the bathtub the designs are limited only by the designer’s imagination. Although, make sure that you try to combine the design with your overall bathroom with a new bathtub. After all, you want harmony and a relaxing environment in your bathroom.
The “Spoon”
The low-slung spoon shaped bathtub by G.P. Benedini, if placed before windows that have a gorgeous look, will make every bath seem like basking in heaven. Although, make sure that the windows are one-way or that the bathroom is not easily watchable from the outside, otherwise your privacy is at stake.
The “Chandelier”
This interesting design by Andrew Fisher and Jeffry Weisman is a truly unique piece. It combines a Candide bathtub and the shell-encrusted chandelier is actually the tap and the bathtub filler. Not only does it look remarkable, but it will definitely spice up any bathroom to look brilliant. However, you will probably need a professional plumber to come and help set up your new bathtub.
The “Egg”
If you are into a more minimalistic modern look, then Jean-Pascal Lévy-Trumet has the perfect bathtub design for you. It is an egg-shaped concrete bathtub that will look astonishingly well in a more serious and darker bathroom. However, it feels great taking a bath in them, and they are fun too, because of the egg-shape. The sleek design will ensure that you will have the most interesting bath every time you get in.
The “Minimalist”
Designer Carlos Souza has a very sleek and minimalistic looking bathtub that will fit into many modern looking bathrooms. Moreover, for those who love the older types of bathtubs, this design will be representing a slice of heaven. It is also great for relaxation and for taking long rejuvenating baths.
The “Submarine”
Charlene de Ganay designed a very interesting and unique piece that will redefine bathrooms. Although you need a bigger bathroom for this bathtub to work, it is excellent for those who want to take their relaxation to the next level. The bathtub is discreetly sunken and it also features and open shower, and both pieces are made in polished cement. It brings a modern look into any bathroom which is ready to accept the changes.
The “Sinker”
The designer Gregory Bissonnette has made a statement with his interesting design, a deep cast concrete soaking tub that resembles more a barrel than a regular tub. It is great for those long baths and for relaxation. Combine it with a great view from your bathroom, and you can feel like you are soaking in heaven. This tub is great for small but stylistic bathrooms.
