Styles and Features from the 2017 Fall Parade of Homes
The Fall Parade of Homes is a great place to find design and style inspiration and see the latest in new construction. With more than 400 homes on the tour this fall, there is sure to be a trend that fits your style. We stopped by WCCO and KARE 11 this week to share some of the Parade styles and must-have features from The Tile Shop and Ambiance at Home.
See the features in action below, and then read on to learn more about the Parade of Homes.
Reclaimed Wood
Reclaimed wood tile from The Tile Shop is a beautiful was to update your space. Every installation of this wood tile is unique, crafted from the wooden hulls of antique ships long retired. That’s one of the reasons reclaimed wood is so well loved, it has history and tells a story to the homeowner.
Technology
Technology is always evolving and the Parade is a great place to see all the new pieces you can incorporate into your home. Dream Home #1 from Lennar is the world’s first Wi-Fi Certified Home Design with Amazon Alexa to keep families totally synched and has been engineered without any dead spots in the home. Whether you’re streaming movies in the basement, looking up recipes in the kitchen or listening to music in your room, you’re covered. You’ll find lots of ideas to slowly incorporate technology into your home, too, like smart speakers that can each be controlled individually through your device.
Style Inspiration
Whether you like to go bold with color or stick with the neutrals, there is design inspiration for everyone on the Parade. Jewel tones are a sophisticated way to add color to your space, while farmhouse flair to your home gives a fresh, welcoming feel. These decor pieces from Ambiance at Home are great examples of how you can bring the latest styles into your home.
You can expect to see these trends and more on the Fall Parade of Homes, so go out and get inspired! And when you do find something that you can’t get enough of, share it on social media with #ParadeofHomes so we can see your favorite things!
Homes are free to tour with the exception of the four Artisan Dream Homes and one special Dream Home for veteran families. The Dream Homes each have a $5 admission which goes to the BATC Foundation to continue their hard work in helping build and remodel homes for families in need.
