This older home lacked space and openness, a challenge for clients who loved entertaining. We expanded it with a 10x30 two-story addition, maximizing ceiling height with a flat roof. Custom Douglas fir beams added character to the kitchen, which features a dumbwaiter connecting both levels. New oak flooring seamlessly integrated with existing floors. Converting the original garage into a cozy viewing room offered a perfect retreat. A stacking door in the sitting room merges indoor and outdoor spaces, complemented by a retractable screen for summer comfort. The addition opens to a large deck and patios, ideal for gatherings year-round.
