An update on the 2020 Spring Parade of Homes and Remodelers Showcase:
The safety and well-being of our hosts, tour-goers, homeowners, and the public is our top priority at the Parade of Homes. With ongoing concerns surrounding COVID-19 and the recent shelter-in-place executive order from Gov. Walz, we are taking the following actions to comply with this order and to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 exposure:
- The remainder of the 2020 Spring Parade of Homes has been postponed until further notice.
- The 2020 Spring Remodelers Showcase (April 3-5) has been canceled.
We respect Gov. Walz’s leadership and decision to further enhance community mitigation to stop people from gathering in large groups and potentially spreading the disease. Complying with Gov. Walz’s order is the right thing to do for the state, for our home hosts, tour-goers, and homeowners.
We appreciate your support and understanding during this unprecedented and historic time. We encourage you to visit ParadeofHomes.org to explore the photo galleries and virtually connect with builders and remodelers from the tour. Many builders and remodelers may be offering meetings virtually or by appointment for those looking for a new home or remodeler.
Because these events bring people together from all over the state, it is imperative that we act responsibly to help slow the spread of this disease (COVID-19) that is affecting the world. The Parade of Homes has a long-standing history of helping homebuyers find their dream homes. We look forward to continuing that tradition in the near future.
