After a fire, this 1930s home was fully remodeled by Highmark & Ruby+Suede: walls opened for an airy main level, a completely custom kitchen with island, expanded bath, new laundry & 4th bedroom in basement, updated fireplace, and charming original details preserved for timeless character.
The main level was opened up by removing walls to create a bright, open-concept living space. A stunning new kitchen and pantry feature custom cabinetry, luxury appliances, and a statement hood vent. The original dining area was reimagined as an extension of the kitchen, complete with a large island offering ample seating.
Upstairs, the once-small bathroom was relocated and expanded into a spacious, functional retreat for the family. The basement gained a laundry room and a new fourth bedroom, along with a remodeled fireplace accented by new built-in cabinets.
Throughout the home, careful attention was paid to preserving charming original details—like the 1.5” oak hardwood floors—while thoughtfully modernizing with timeless, high-quality materials. Every room was touched in this whole-home remodel, breathing new life into a classic 1930s residence while honoring its unique character.
