Our couple wanted to transform their dark, cold “cave” from the 1980s into an airy, inviting space for their young kids to enjoy movie and game nights with friends for years to come! With a focus on function and durability in mind, luxury vinyl flooring suits the main entertainment area while a rubber matting adds controlled cushion to the workout area and carpet brings coziness to the bedrooms.
A black wrought iron railing delivers a contemporary and clean look as guests are greeted in the new space. Modern finishes define the aesthetic, with black and brass accents adding sophistication throughout.
The updated bedrooms (going from 3 to 4, so the kids each have their own) and two bathrooms round out the remodel, creating a cohesive and luxurious lower-level retreat.
